I have a strong preference for these wooden sticks over the plastic stirrers. First of all, because they are constructed of a natural material, they won't be in the landfills in the year 3000! And they are long enough for the taller cups of coffee.
If you're really into green, they can be collected and put into soapy water after use and then used for crafts once they are dry. I'm going to try using them for pickup sticks!
